God Knows All About Me

For you formed my inward parts;

You knitted me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works; My soul knows it very well.

My frame was not hidden from you,

When I was being made in secret,

Intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance;

in your book were written, every one of them,

The days that were formed for me,

When as yet there was none of them.

(Psalm 139:13-16 ESV)

God knew about me even before I was born. He knows how I work, what I like and what’s going on in my head. I am not here by accident. He planned the day when I was to be born and all my days here on earth. My life is in His hands. I can go to Him about all my plans and concerns, and He will show me the way forward.

Look through some old photos and consider how God has been with you throughout your life in the good times and difficult times. He saw you and knew how you felt. Write down your thoughts in your journal.

Declare:

“My days are written in God’s book” several times throughout the day.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you that you know all about me. You know all that I am thinking, what I worry about and what I like. Thank you that you have a good plan for my life. Please show me the way.
