God's Provision For Our Lives

What has God provided for us to sustain us in our walk with God so that we grow and reach the finish line?

Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished on us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Ephesians 1:3 tPt)

Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness

(2 Peter 1:3 tPt)

These verses tell us that He has already generously given us all we need to live the life He has called us to. In Psalm 23, He is the good shepherd who provides all that we need. It’s all there for when we need it. Most of all, we have him living in us and leading us.

Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow because today has enough troubles. Often, a sense of lack or powerlessness results from looking too far ahead rather than taking one day at a time. Each day with the Lord gives us strength or the day and hope for the next day. We take the next step with our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. With Him as our Shepherd, we lack nothing needed for our journey of hope – rest, refreshment and restoration, His leading down the path we take, His presence with us in dark times, His overflowing anointing, and so much more.

Find a quiet spot and read through. Psalm 23 slowly picturing scenes described in the psalm.

Picture Jesus with you during a dark or difficult time in your life. See Jesus there with you, ministering to you, supporting you, and strengthening you. Write down anything that comes to you.
