In the Bible, Hebrews 7:25 tells us that Jesus is always praying for us.
So he is able to save fully from now throughout eternity everyone who comes to God through him because he lives to pray continually for them (tPt)
This can be really encouraging when we feel like we're struggling in our relationship with Him or when we're too busy to pray on our own. Even though we feel inadequate in our prayers for others, Jesus is praying for us, knowing everything about us and what we need in our lives.
In John 17, we can read about Jesus praying for all of us who will come to believe in Him, asking that we would be united with Him, with each other, and with God. Jesus wants us to be close to him and to see his glory. We know from reading in the bible that Jesus prayed passionately with loud cries and tears, so that must include his prayers for us. His prayers for us are not the perfunctory prayers that we might perform on certain occasions. He prayed for Peter, the apostle, that his faith would not fail when he was tested and ended up denying Jesus.
When we face challenges and fail, Jesus is there to restore and strengthen us. Our transformation doesn’t depend on our efforts but on our willingness to yield to His work in our lives and trust that He is always working for our good. So, whenever you're struggling or feel like you've messed up, remember that Jesus is praying for you so that you can overcome.
Come close to Jesus, bringing some of the things you are concerned about in your life. Thank him that he is praying for you and ask him to guide you in the way ahead.
